The clue is in the name with this one. The Montane Windjammer Gloves are lightweight windproof gloves with an incredibly soft inner. Touch screen compatible too!

Constructed from GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® softshell stretch fabric with a soft microfleece backer, the Windjammer glove is lightweight and very comfortable. This glove keeps hands warm and protected from wind chill whilst providing fantastic levels of breathability and drying remarkably fast.

Our Verdict

Now these are a comfortable pair of gloves. They provide a good amount of warmth for such a low weight and the microfleece backer feels incredibly soft against your skin. A good fit, though there is no wrist adjustment so making sure you get the right size is essential if you want to prevent cold air from getting through the top. However it doe’s have an elasticated cuff which if you wear under the sleeve of your coat will still prevent the cold air from getting in.

Here at Ultralight we love the featured nose-wipe, not enough gloves have them if you ask me. Exactly what you need on a chilly windy day. The touch screen compatible fingers will come in useful too when you want to use your phone or touch screen GPS without removing your gloves.
