An absolute classic in the hiking world, The Terra Pants have been a staple of Montane’s range for years, and have been updated for this season.
Montane says
Award-winning and best-selling, the Terra Pants are the ultimate lightweight, breathable and hard-wearing mountain pant, suitable for hill, trail and rock alike. The Terra Pants use a unique combination of high performance cottonfeel TACTEL® with tough CORDURA® rip-stop reinforcements. Both fabrics feature a PFC-free DWR for more environmentally friendly durable water resistance.
Our Verdict
Made primarily for montane’s TACTEL nylon, a lightweight, very breathable and fast-drying cloth, this makes them ideal for warmer weather. The knees, seat and inner leg have been reinforced with a super tough and waterproof CORDURA material.
The trousers have a total of 5 pockets altogether, 2 on the hips, two hand pockets and one on the rear. The ankles can be cinched with press stud adjustments, which is fantastic when you need to keep the heat in. Two large mesh vents run up each leg, these are perfect for quickly venting heat and I wish all outdoor trousers came whit them.
